The Treehouse Internet Group's innovative expansion
After a record-breaking year, The Treehouse Internet Group is ramping up to reach new heights in 2014. Just beyond the current “office” walls, a major expansion is underway. Over 20 new work stations will soon become available, housing account managers, search engine specialists, content writers, sales professionals, and more.
The construction, overseen by Basement Systems, Inc. president Larry Janesky, began in November and is expected to be completed in late January. Employees, from design specialists to installation experts to Janesky himself, have been wielding hammers, saws, and paintbrushes, to raise the bar on the unique work environment. “This is the coolest project!” he said. “Everyone is excited to be working on Boom Town because it’s so fun.”
Yes, BoomTown is the name of the newest area of The Treehouse, featuring houses, a mine with passageways, a Koi pond, and a raised skylight to let in lots of natural light. With enthusiasm and innovation to boot, it’s no wonder that the corporate headquarters is consistently voted one of the best places to work in Connecticut!
